HOW TO RANK IN GOOGLE 3 PACK

How much business would you generate if you were going to rank in the Google three-pack? How would these change your life? How would these change your family’s life? I have personally seen businesses double and triple in size thanks to the power of the three-pack.

In this blog, you will know an effective way to get your business to rank at the top  of  Google  in  the  three-pack.  How  your  business  title  has  a  huge  ranking factor and how you can use it to your advantage, and how to stay in compliance with Google’s terms of service.

EFFECTIVE WAYS TO GET YOUR BUSINESS TO RANK ON THE TOP OF GOOGLE IN THE THREE-PACK

STEP 1: Modify your BUSINESS TITLE: Show your Primary Keyword and City Name

When you search for businesses locally, you’ll notice that all of the businesses have that keyword somewhere in the title. According to a bright local study, l57 searches a month are “direct searches/branded searches,” and 852 searchers are “discovery searches.” That means percentage-wise, 84% of searches are “discovery,” meaning using keywords. Look at your GMB pie and analyze the data. If “discovery” takes up the majority of your GMB pie, then this blog is right for you.

STEP 2: Get a DBA “Doing Business As”

DBA stands for ”doing business as.” It’s also referred to as your business’s assumed, trade or fictitious name. Yes, this is your new name. Make this change official! Why? According to Google guidelines, it is essential for you to add your company name as it appears in real life. If your name is such and such in real life, you make this your DBA. In doing such, you would be in compliance with Google’s terms of service.

You get your DBA first, and once you have all your legal paperwork in order, you will go to your GMB and make the necessary changes. As long as it’s in writing, you would be in compliance.

NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE YOUR GMB UNTIL YOU FULLY REBRAND

How to rebrand?

If we try to stay relevant so people can find us, I suggest that you choose your most important, most valuable keyword along with your city name. Now that you’re coming up with ideas make sure nobody else uses that specific name. So be creative. Use your primary keyword, use your name and make it branded.

Have you selected it yet? Now get your DBA and once you’re fully rebranded, proceed to step 3.

STEP 3: CHANGE your GMB TITLE

Proceed to your GMB dashboard, change your GMB title to your new DBA name and make the same changes to your website.

IMPORTANT: Any GMB listing is a risk of suspension; however, in some cases, this  is  the  first  step  in  making  sure  that  Google  finds  your  business  relevant. Have your legal paperwork handy and show them that you are complying.

If you follow this three-step method, I am confident that you will increase your GMB rankings and grow your business. Remember that "What you're following is following you!"
